Denis A. Lapierre
Mr. Lapierre has had 26 years experience in business litigation, shareholder disputes and in tax litigation.
He has pleaded before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Tax Court of Canada, the Superior Court of Quebec, the Court of Quebec and before several boards and administrative tribunals of the Province of Quebec. He has experience in dispute resolution involving the federal and provincial tax authorities. He also has experience in mediation and arbitration cases.
Mr. Lapierre acted as a legal advisor for the René Cassin Foundation (M. Cassin was the recipient of the 1968 Nobel Peace Prize and the author of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
Mr. Lapierre also acted as a legal advisor of various organizations such as the Fondation de l’Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse, the Orchestre de la Nouvelle-France and was a member of the Agence Wallonie-Bruxelles pour la jeunesse. He also acted as a legal advisor of the St-Patrick Development Foundation.
