Jennifer Leach

Ms. Leach practices in the tax planning group at Sweibel Novek. Her main areas of practice include personal taxation and estate planning, corporate and international taxation, and taxpayer representation. In addition, Ms. Leach frequently negotiates voluntary disclosures on behalf of taxpayers.

Ms. Leach has completed Levels I and II of the Canadian Institute for Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax Course and attended the Canadian Bar Association’s Tax Law for Lawyers Course. She is a member of the Association de Planification fiscal et financière (APFF) and an informal tax study group.

Ms. Leach received her B.A. (Honours) in Political Science and Economics from McGill University and her L.L.B from the University of British Columbia in 2002. She was called to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2003 and to the Quebec Bar in 2011.

Prior to joining Sweibel Novek in 2010, Ms. Leach worked for five years in Toronto as a tax lawyer.
